How Can We Help?

We team up with heroes and underdogs to design approachable graphics, logos, marketing materials, products, websites, and more. Whatever it is we got your back; we can wow your audience and keep them engaged long after the curtains have closed.

Get to Know Us

We founded YupGup around the idea that designing something enjoyable that engages people and brings them together is worthwhile. Life is too short to be subjected to stuffy design. We want to help build brands with personality.

Meet the Gups

We’re introverts who have been charming people through design for decades and super duper excited to get to know you!

Joni Trythall

Partner, Strategy & Creative Direction

Known on the WWW as “Joni Bologna”, Joni is an author, teacher, designer, and a *flipping* magician when it comes to making allergy-free foods. She is passionate about community building and uses her design chops to engage and create change. Joni works to diversify tech leadership through Ela Conf, a conference she co-founded in 2015. She collects animal shaped coffee mugs, occasionally eats squash, and is the creative powerhouse behind YupGup.

Michael Trythall

Partner, UX & Development

With a twinkle in his eye and clutching a trapper keeper full of dreams, Michael joined his middle school computer club in 1996. His first task was maintaining the school’s HTML 2 (!!) website. Since then he’s gone on to design and build countless applications, websites, brochures, logos, you-name-its for small, regional, and national brands. He believes in the open web, builds rad LEGO spaceships, and is easily persuaded with cookies.
